Petrol Price Hike In India Creates Strom On Social Media #Petrol #7.50
Now let’s get back to petrol, which is making headlines today and will continue the trend for next few week. Today petrol price got a hike of Rs. 7.5 in India. It’s not only petrol that kicked serious butt but also diesel and LPG prices got cute hikes. Diesel got a hike of Rs. 5 and LPG enjoys a hike of Rs. 50. Indian middle class, which survives with very limited income and maximum responsibilities will be hit adversely with these hikes.
Auto Rickshaw in Mumbai is getting costlier month by month. I remember, when I came to Mumbai, minimum fare was Rs. 9. In span of 4 years, the hike is 3 Rs.
The Worse case is here – Buses, the nerve of middle class people when it comes to travelling in Mumbai. Bus fare has got 100% increase in last 4 years. Minimum fare was Rs. 3 in 2009, which currently is Rs. 6.
Stupid government still quote the inflation rate 7.2%. I think they should die in a corner with the obsolete objects that they use for calculating inflation rate.
Social Media is not quiet this time. There has been a chaos on social media regarding this hike.
Twitter gets flooded with #petrol tweets. #petrol tops the list of Indian Trends on twitter. Take a look.
